Policies (Terms and Conditions)

Late Start Policy: Any massage service starting late due to the client’s late arrival will be shortened and full charge of massage service applied. 

Cancellation and No Show Policy: Massage by Amada requires 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. For the protection of the massage therapist and clients, if you are feeling sick (i.e. coughing, runny nose, fever), please contact therapist to reschedule your appointment. Clients who cancel or reschedule their appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $25.00 reschedule/cancellation fee. No-show appointments will be automatically charged $50.00 to the card on file. 

Inclement/Severe Weather: In cases where extreme/inclement weather is forecast, the therapist will provide at least 4 hours’ notice to reschedule your appointment to prioritize the safety of the therapist and clients. Inclement weather includes but is not limited to; hurricanes, tropical storms, major thunderstorms/flooding, winter storms, icy roads, and unsafe/hazardous road conditions.

Massage Termination/Harassment: Professional massages are offered to address client’s therapeutic needs for relaxation or bodywork. In the event of any inappropriate conduct such as harassment, threatening speech/behavior, sexual advances/requests, or disrespectful actions/language, or being under the influence of any substances (drugs or alcohol) the massage service will be immediately terminated and the customer will be charged at full price.

Draping Policy: Clients will be appropriately draped with sheet(s) during the entire massage service. Therapist will be uncovering the area(s) of the body being massaged and then covering again with the sheet(s) before moving onto the next body area. The breast and genital areas will always remain draped.   

HIPPA & Confidentiality: Client privacy and confidentiality will be maintained at all times. Client Intake forms, medical history, and documentation of massage services are kept in a secure location and only seen by the therapist.

Póliza de Cancelación o No Presentarse: Massage by Amada requiere un aviso de 24 horas para cancelar o reprogramar una cita. Para la protección del terapeuta y todos los clientes, le pedimos que si se siente enfermo (es decir, tos, secreción nasal, fiebre) se comunique con la terapeuta para reprogramar su cita. Los clientes que cancelen o reprogramen su cita con menos de 24 horas se cobrará una cuota de $25.00. Clientes que no se presenten a la cita se cobrará $50.00 en la tarjeta registrada. 

Clima Severo: En los casos en que se pronostica clima extremo/severo, la terapeuta avisará con al menos 4 horas de anticipación para reprogramar su cita para priorizar la seguridad del terapeuta y los clientes. El clima extremo.severo incluye, entre otros: Huracanes, tormentas tropicales, tormentas eléctricas o inundaciones, tormentas invernales, carreteras heladas y condiciones viales peligrosas o inseguras.

Profesionalismo: Se ofrecen masajes profesionales para abordar las necesidades terapéuticas del cliente en cuanto a relajación o trabajo corporal. En caso de cualquier conducta inapropiada, como acoso, lenguaje o discurso amenazante, avances o solicitudes sexuales, acciones o lenguaje irrespetuoso, o estar bajo la influencia de cualquier sustancia (drogas o alcohol), el servicio de masajes se finalizará de inmediato y se cobrará al cliente el precio completo. Se cubrirá adecuadamente a los clientes con una sábana durante todo el servicio de masajes. La terapeuta destapara las áreas del cuerpo que se masajean y luego las cubrirá nuevamente con la sábana antes de pasar a la siguiente área del cuerpo. Las áreas de los senos y los genitales siempre permanecerán cubiertas.

Ley de Portabilidad y Responsabilidad de Seguros de Salud (HIPPA) y confidencialidad: Se mantendrá la privacidad y confidencialidad del cliente en todo momento. Los formularios de admisión de clientes, el historial médico y la documentación de los servicios de masajes se guardan en un lugar seguro y solo la terapeuta los ve.
